Sister Space - Women's group

A group for women to connect, be creative, have fun, find community

donation of £10
Barnfield Hill

Service Description

In a world that often expects women to juggle multiple roles—carer, worker, partner, friend, and more—it’s easy to feel stretched thin, disconnected, or even invisible. A women’s group offers something many of us don’t even realise we need until we experience it: a safe, supportive space to show up fully, without judgment or pressure. Whether you're navigating a life transition, looking for connection, or simply needing time for yourself, being part of a women’s group can be a deeply validating and transformative experience. * Many women report feeling isolated—even when surrounded by people. A women’s group provides regular, meaningful connection with others who are also navigating life’s challenges. There’s something powerful about sharing space with others who “get it,” without needing to explain or justify your feelings. In a group, you're reminded: you're not alone. * So often, women are the listeners, the caretakers, the ones holding everything together. In a women’s group, you are invited to pause and be the one who is listened to. It’s a space to speak your truth, explore your thoughts and emotions, and be heard—without advice-giving or fixing. This kind of witnessing can be incredibly healing. * Women’s groups often explore themes like boundaries, self-worth, identity, relationships, life transitions, or inner healing. Through group discussions, reflections, and shared experiences, many women gain clarity and self-awareness that can be difficult to access on your own. You might discover more of who you are—and who you want to become. *Every woman brings her own wisdom, life experience, and insight. Group work offers the unique opportunity to learn from others in a way that’s supportive rather than competitive. Seeing how others handle similar struggles can spark new perspectives and gentle shifts in your own life. * Above all, joining a women’s group helps create a sense of belonging—to yourself, to others, and to something larger. When women come together with honesty and compassion, something sacred happens: we hold space for each other’s stories, strengths, and struggles. It’s not about fixing anyone—it’s about being together, exactly as we areIf you’re feeling called to connect, reflect, or simply breathe more deeply in the company of others, a women’s group might be just what you need. You don’t have to carry everything on your own. There is power in being part of something where everyone is learning, healing, and growing—together.
